Brynn Pics!

The house

Well I think we made up our mind! This first picture is of the house we are moving into at the end of February!! I am so excited and it is going to be a long 5 weeks of waiting but it will be worth it to be out of apartment living. It is about 2000 sq feet, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a den and a HUGE backyard. Tim will be a leaf ranking fool! And it has storage!!!!! Something we so desperately need. It's a little older but the guy renting it to us has redone all of the flooring, countertops, fixtures and has repainted everything. After we move in I'll post pics of the inside. We are only renting because I can't bring myself to commit to Louisiana more than this so enjoy it while it lasts.:)

Geaux Tigers!

Here we are at Miss Tracy's during the LSU game! Brynn isn't a big fan of smiling for the camera, that isn't going to go over well is she is going to win the photo contest.... We had so much fun seeing all of our friends and Tracy was the perfect host like always. We ended up leaving during the 3rd quarter but we were able so watch the Tigers win from home. YAY!!!

Slam Dunk!!!

Tim is pushing this basketball hoop on Brynn pretty hard. He bought it for her for christmas and she has learned to love it. She can't quite say basketball so she calls it slam dunk and anything round gets "slam dunked" into the hoop. It really is cute to watch and it makes Tim's day because I think between all of the estrogen in both of our families having a boy won't be an option so he's more than happy to have his little tom boy. She loves the jersey Aunt Mogi bought her. Of course it's Kobe Bryant, that was Mogi's husband in a past life. LOL It goes great with her Alex Smith 49ers jersey, Saints Reggie Bush jersey and her LSU jacket, quite the collection for a one year old! She is a big fan of football and enjoyed going to Miss Tracy's house to watch LSU take the Championship! Everytime we score she would say "Go Tigers! Rawr!" and make a claw with her hand. So funny, we've trained her well.

Potty Time

I might get in trouble for posting this because Miss Kaye is half naked but I couldn't resist because she's so darn cute! We bought her a potty yesterday. She has been facinated with Tim and I going to the potty for quite some time so we are going to get her used to have her own potty around. She doesn't quite get the concept though. Yesterday she pooped and then ran in and sat on the potty. This could be a long process......

Update...

So Tim and I have been getting along much better lately. It's still too early to say what will happen in the future but as of right now things are looking up. We updated his resume and he has joined me in the search for employment in Utah so cross your fingers for us! While we are waiting to see if he gets any bites back we are also looking for somewhere else to live here in Louisiana. He gives a little, I give a little:) We aren't very happy in the place we live now so we are trying to see if there's something better out there without having to become homeowners. I guess our lives could go in two different directions any time soon but we will most likely remain down south for a little bit longer. So much going on and we are only one week into the year!

New Years!

Well, Tim and I had a really good New Years. My parents had Brynn for a few days because we both had to work and her daycare was closed and lets just say it was a blessing in disguise. We went golfing and to a few restaurants we've been wanting to try and shopping and that was all before New Years Eve! On New Years Eve we got a hotel room and went to dinner then we went out with friends and had such a good time. We haven't been alone for longer than a meal since Brynn was born so we more than needed the break. Thank you Grandma Cahoon, Grandma Jillyn, Aunt Dani, Aunt Lacie, Aunt Madison, Aunt Haeli, Aunt McKell, Uncle Landen, Uncle Dwight and Grandpa Dwight for taking such good care of her! She had so much fun, as usual.
