Madison & Luke's Reception

Kell & Brynn driving grandma's car. She loves to sit in there and push all the buttons and jam to the stereo and she will only do it with Aunt McKell.
Timmy & I at the reception

My sisters Lacis and McKell. Lacie has always had a different, exotic look that none of the rest of us have had but we just realized that these two are starting to look a lot a like!
My beautiful sisters and I!

Danielle and Cody, the other newlyweds.
So we had Madison and Luke's Louisiana wedding reception this weekend so we stayed down at my parents. We have had a lot of family time the past few months and we are loving every minute. I have no idea what I am going to blog about now that all of the weddings are over, I guess you'll just have to settle with hearing more about Brynn.

Not so Good

I forgot to mention that while we were in Utah at Madison's dinner after the wedding, Brynn choked on a jellybean. I mean really choked. Like I had to rip her from Dani's lap and throw her over my lap and hit her on the back with the bottom of my palm. It was terrifying. She cried and cried after so we were walking around the halls of the Lion House and when she calmed down she was so mad at me! The first thing she said when she stopped crying was, "Don't knock me over and don't hit Brynee." The poor girl didn't understand that I was helping her get the jelly bean out, she thought I just decided to rough her up a bit. Isn't that so sad?! Now I totally feel like a mean mommy because she thinks it's funny if we are out to dinner or at the store and she will just start yelling at me for knocking her over and hitting her. It's terrible and so embarassing. I can only imagine what people think.

Teeth Brushing

This might not be appropriate because she isn't a a baby anymore but Brynn climbed up on her stool to brush her teeth tonight and I thought it was adorable, I think everything this girl does is adorable. I give her pedicures every time I cut her toenails, I even put flower stickers on her big toes and she loves it. I love the toes picture because if you know miss Brynlee she is always walking on her toes, she has calves of steel!

More Up Down

I might be totally biased but I had to take this one morning because I thought Brynn looked so pretty! And it's very rare to find her without a binky in her mouth while sleeping. Oh and you will notice she is back in her baby bed. She has always loved her bed and has never once attempted to get out so I'm thinking the big girl bed was a rush on my part. She has been pretty much wonderful sinse we changed it back so unless she comes kicking and screaming that she absolutely HAS to have a big girl bed she can sleep in this thing until kindergarten if she wants.

Fun at the park! We actually attempted to go this morning because it wasn't 95 at 9:00am. It was a lot of fun to see how excited she was, but it warmed up pretty fast so we only lasted about 30 mins.
More on the Up down! Our mall was just remodeled and they added a huge two level carousel and Brynn loves it. We have to ride it at least once while whenever we go there. They even have an elephant she can ride, which happens to be her favorite animal along with tigers and alligators. The best part is that 2 weeks ago she would scream and cry and not even sit on the animals. At this age I'm pretty sure has no idea what wants. My mom jokes and says welcome to life with a teenager, wonderful. That means I only have 16 more teenage years ahead of me.

Chapstick, Attitude & Don't Touch my Daddy

Miss Brynlee has a slight obsession with chap stick, thanks Aunt Dani! She has at least 4 in her purse at all times and puts them on non-stop. It really is a little weird, good thing she's cute! And she has decided that Tim and I can no longer be affectionate. If we kiss or snuggle she will run up and try to push me away or pulls on Tim's shorts and says "my daddy". She seriously gets jealous, it's so funny. Oh and her hair looks the way it does because she had a home with daddy day today. Love those days! And I have learned that vacationing to see Grandma and Great Grandma and 5 of her Aunts has it's down side. Brynn has a new phrase, "Don't tell me no." Disciplining doesn't happen when I am that out numbered.
